Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that the body of a woman has been found in woodland near Gainsborough.
Police officers were called to woods north west of Lincoln at 9.54 on October 27 following a report that a woman’s body had been found.
No formal identification has been completed but police believe they know who the woman is. Officers are contacting family members.
Police remain at the scene completing their investigations.
