
Lincolnshire Police are investigating a break-in and deliberate van fire in Lincoln over the weekend, moments after another car fire on a neighbouring estate.
The force first received reports that a Renault Kangoo van was stolen from a garage off Skellingthorpe Road early on Saturday morning.
The stolen van was found alight on Romney Close on Sunday evening, with Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue called to extinguish the fire at just after 10.30pm.

Police are treating the fire as deliberate.
An eyewitness told The Lincolnite the suspects also attempted to torch her car before being spotted.
Anyone with information on the break-in should contact Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 113 of December 5.
For the fire, witnesses should again call 101, this time quoting incident number 503 of December 6.
Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Fire crews attended a second car fire on Fieldfare Close in Birchwood just 15 minutes earlier, although the cause of this particular incident has yet to be confirmed.
