Newport in Lincoln is closed in both directions after a woman was hit by a car at the pedestrian crossing.
The incident happened on the zebra crossing near to the Ivy Tavern pub at around 2pm on Thursday, January 14.
Emergency services including paramedics and Lincolnshire Police attended the scene and the woman was taken to hospital with leg injuries.
Injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Lincolnshire Police are dealing with the incident under incident number 213.
Update – 4pm: Newport has now been reopened to traffic in both directions.
