Police are appealing for information after a Lincoln man was allegedly assaulted in the Birchwood area of the city.
The incident happened at around 7.40pm on January 6, on the field between Birchwood Shopping Centre and Aberporth Road.
A 19-year-old local man was approached by a group of around six men, wearing hoodies and face scarves, police said.
He was punched in the head several times, which required treatment from ambulance staff.
Anyone who might have seen this incident or the group of men should call Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 348 of January 6.
