A 19-month-old toddler has died after falling into his grandparents’ pond in Gosberton Risegate, Spalding on Sunday, July 11.
The child died on Wednesday morning due to injuries he sustained after falling.
It is believed the boy, who has yet to be named, was taken to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston after the incident and then to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where he died.
The coroner has been informed and an inquest into the child’s death will be held.
