A decomposed body has been discovered in a tent in Lincoln woodlands.
A police investigation is underway to identify the person and determine a cause of death.
The body was discovered by members of the public in woods near to the A46 bypass junction with Doddington Road yesterday evening at 8.30pm.
It was described as “decomposed” by officers and was found in a tent.
Officers have cordoned off the area to investigate the cause of death and work is ongoing to identify the person.
