
A Lincoln schoolboy has been injured in a collision with a van at the junction of Tritton Road with Skellingthorpe Road on January 10.
At 2.48pm, police received reports of a road traffic collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle at the junction.
Eyewitness reports suggest that a young boy on his bike was crossing the road when he was involved in a collision with the van.
The boy was then taken by air ambulance to Lincoln County Hospital. Later update: The boy is stable and recovering in hospital, where he will be kept under observation.
Due to the incident, there were temporary road closures in place along Tritton Road, Skellingthorpe Road and Newark Road.
Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to call the 101 number, referencing incident number 216.
