Arrests made after Lincoln City football match disorder

Lincolnshire Police have arrested and charged a number of people after disorder at a Lincoln City home match this weekend.

The arrests were made on July 12 during Lincoln City’s home game against Doncaster.

Four men in their 20s and an 18 year-old man from Lincoln, together with a 20 year-old man from Billinghay, were arrested on suspicion of affray.

The six have been released on police bail until August 18 and 19.

Meanwhile, a 16 year-old youth from Barnsley was charged in relation to a smoke bomb that was let off in the football ground.

He will appear before Lincoln Youth Court on July 28.

Additionally, Samuel Sellers (21), from Bracebridge Heath, was charged with failing to comply with a banning order, so will appear before magistrates on August 19.

Finally, Marc Anthony Leonards (39) from Doncaster was charged with a public order offence and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on August 14.
