A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after fighting with a woman near the Golden Cross pub on Lincoln High Street
The man and woman were reported to have been fighting on the corner of Queen Street, outside The Golden Cross pub grounds at around 1.30am on Sunday, July 27.
Lincolnshire Police are looking for two men who are believed to have walked past the pair.
The woman reportedly asked the two witnesses to call the police.
No calls were received and police would like to talk to them to see what information they have relating to the incident.
Officers would like to hear from the two men who witnessed the incident. They are asked to contact the Force on 101 quoting incident 88 of July 27.
