Police are investigating the theft of golfing equipment from a parked car in the Finningley Road area of the Lincoln Birchwood estate.
Thieves targeted the car between 5.30 and 6.20am on May 13.
A golfing towel was later found abandoned in the wooded cut-through between Finningley Road and Tudor Road, where it joins Birchwood Avenue.
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen someone in the Birchwood area pulling a golf trolley around the time of the offence.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 86 of May 13.
