Two men and a woman have been arrested after a man was assaulted in Lincoln on Friday night.
The incident happened at around 6pm on July 3 on Cannon Street in the Stamp End area of the city.
Ambulance and police were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police enquiries throughout today have led to the arrest of two men and a woman in connection with the assault who are now being questioned.
Lincolnshire Police are asking anyone who was in the Cannon Street area of Lincoln between about 5.45 and 6.45 on Friday, July 3, and saw a man being assaulted or anything suspicious to contact them in confidence on 101 quoting incident 415.
